Firstly, the viewfinder is one of the best on the market CONSIDERING the price; a valve index is VERY expensive, but it has additions that the Quest 2 doesn't and vice versa; that's what makes it a great viewer compared to the top of the range. If you plan to use it to play on your computer: 1) You need a GPU and CPU capable of running virtual reality. 2) You require an additional cable like the Oculus Link, HOWEVER, there are generic cables as alternatives, which are better, and longer. 2.1) If you are going to buy a generic cable, make sure it is: USB-C 3.1 to USB-C 3.1 or USB-A 3.1 to USB C; these cables are around 490-780 Mexican pesos for the simple fact of being 3.1, it is MANDATORY that they are 3.1 and not 2.0, because otherwise you will overspend when you realize that you are going to have poor performance, do not spend 200 or 300 mxn and then spend another 500 mxn. 3) A new strap or headstrap; yes, the reviews were true; the default headstrap is a headache (literally) is a bad design as it does not evenly distribute the weight of the face over your head and thus becomes uncomfortable in the long run. I bought the BOBOVR M2 and it is wonderful, taking almost the design of the Rift s, the support it gives you on the occipital and the ease of adjusting it make it an indispensable addition. And that's all I consider it necessary to enjoy the viewfinder to the fullest.

The viewfinder is very good for what it costs. The real price should be around 6000-6200 pesos. However, for a Mexican price, it is understandable to me due to the import tariff. Now comes the good part: The experience. It is a virtual reality headset that shows quality from the unboxing, perhaps the only thing to criticize from my perspective would be the headband, but it is totally understandable because oculus sells the elite strap separately. The headband isn't uncomfortable, it just doesn't go along with the perceived quality of the overall product, just if you can buy the elite or a generic then that would be the best thing to do. The gaming experience is just unreal, highly immersive and if you add the fact that you can link it directly to your pc then it becomes a game changer (if you have a pc that can run the games). I do not consider it necessary to use it with a PCVR, but being able to do it with a home router with just 3-8 ms of latency from a different room connected to the 2.5ghz network is very appreciated. If you want to disconnect for a couple of hours from the world (because that's how long your battery lasts on average) and have a good time, this is the option to take. Regarding the battery, although it may seem somewhat low, it is enough if we take into account the need to rest your eyes, anyway if you require more time you can connect directly to the PC by purchasing any usb 3.2 to usb c cable or a powerbank of various capacities to lengthen your VR sessions. If you expect a visual quality close to what we have in the real world, then I recommend that you invest in viewers that are double or triple the price, but for this price I consider the perception of objects rendered by the viewer itself and via PC competent. It is outstanding, but with points to highlight such as the text that from what I understand in almost any viewer for non-professional use tends to be somewhat blurry at some viewing angles, but it is a matter of exploring and finding the focus points of the vision to be able to read text on this platform without much effort. Satisfied 100% with this purchase. Edit: Unfortunately after a week and a half of use, a couple of pixels died right in the center, so I decided to return it to later ask for another one that does not have this defect, so for this reason I change my rating from 5 to 4 stars.

    7. Install Sidequest. (Mobile and PC) if you want a lot of best and free content and if you are a advanced PC user. Not recommended for users not fimiliar with advance PC use or adb, but you get a tons of tutorial on youtube if you want to try.

    3. Max power available over USB Link (just because it's 3.0 doesn't mean it will have enough power to play AND charge the Meta Quest 2 at the same time)

Do yourself a favor and snag the Kiwi Design head strap while you're here on Amazon. The original strap squeezed the heck out of my head and if I loosened it the headset could flop around a bit causing blurry graphics and just being uncomfortable for a different reason. Due to that constant squeeze it gave me some nasty headaches usually after 2-3 hours of gameplay but sometimes much sooner and they could last the rest of the day. While they're nothing compared to a cluster headache for pain they were still what I'd consider bad.
